When we started out our goal was to learn about how to better use money. What loans should be paid off first? How can we do it more quickly? How do we start saving for retirement? Where do we put our money? Are we doing any of this right? Should I listen to this dude saying I need life insurance?
Our questions and research led us to FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early). There are many variations to FIRE with the overall goal being an early retirement. We like to think of it as a means of taking more control over your own life.
